I discovered them when they opened for Gaslight.

Kaz, thanks for sharing that. Now I am in the ruminating and slowly putting things together and ruminating more and taking them apart and putting them back together phase and it is slow going but hopefully will end well. good luck to you too!

Zoe, I'm glad someone who shares the name of the main character approves of my musical choice ;-) and yes they are amazing live! And yeah, I think I daydream, then take notes and sort of outline, but don't usually traditionally outline.Stephanie Kuehnerthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15337734171729461782noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3747205010041270016.post-7195289059746896342010-12-06T18:10:38.338-08:002010-12-06T18:10:38.338-08:00OMG, love the Gaslight Anthem. Given from what I've read about the story, the Gaslight Anthem works pretty well - I can see the connection.
As for my writing, pretty much everything I do is through daydreaming - I don't outline.
Good luck on (re)writing!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3747205010041270016.post-83239318764062120532010-12-06T09:53:29.640-08:002010-12-06T09:53:29.640-08:00Daydreaming and ruminating is HUGE for me, too. More so than I ever realised before, I think.

As you know (Bob), I am way behind on 'traditional' external markers of progress like wordcount on this book I'm working on, but I honetly HAVE spent so many hours ruminating. SO many. Like, all added up, it would probably be weeks and weeks of rumination, which means that now I'm putting down words again, they are coming out pretty well. The story is already there in my head, which is a new thing for me (I normally make-it-up-as-I-go-i-refuse-to-say-pantser *G*).

Anyway. Just thought I'd share that. :)

Good luck, Steph! Happy ruminations and happy rewriting.

Hugs,
KazKaren Mahoneyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02358606301398259487noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3747205010041270016.post-86650076902287179942010-12-06T07:48:13.713-08:002010-12-06T07:48:13.713-08:00Wow!
